Product Introduction

The Mesh Belt Tempering Furnace is used for continuous tempering of small and medium-sized metal parts after quenching or hardening. Instead of loading each batch separately, the workpieces move through the furnace on a heat-resistant mesh belt. The belt carries the parts through feeding, heating, holding and discharge sections in sequence, making the furnace suitable for high-volume production.

The furnace provides controlled thermal conditions during operation. It helps relieve residual stress and restore the required balance of hardness and toughness after quenching. Furnace length, belt width, heating power and conveying speed can be selected according to workpiece specifications and required production output. Custom furnace layouts are available for different automated production lines.

Working Principle

Workpieces are placed on the heat-resistant mesh belt through the feeding section. Driven by the drive and tensioning system, the belt carries the parts through multiple heating zones inside the chamber.

Heating elements are installed along the heating zones, while thermocouples measure the temperature in each section. The PID controller uses the measured values to adjust the heating output during operation. The controller keeps the furnace temperature within the required range while the belt continues to move the parts through the chamber.

Workpiece residence time is mainly controlled by the belt speed, allowing the heating and holding time to be adjusted for different tempering processes. After passing through the heating zones, the parts are continuously discharged for cooling or the next production step.

The Mesh Belt Tempering Furnace adopts an integral steel furnace body with refractory and thermal insulation lining to reduce heat loss during continuous operation. Multiple groups of electric resistance heating elements are arranged in separate heating zones to provide the required temperature conditions.
