Product Introduction

The low temperature box furnace is a standard electric resistance furnace for low-temperature thermal processing. It is used for heat treatment of metal components, hardware parts, powder materials and ceramic workpieces. The furnace provides repeatable heating conditions for both sample testing and small-batch production. The unit features a compact box-type structure with a fully insulated furnace chamber. The chamber is lined with thermal insulation materials, with resistance heating elements arranged around the working area. A PID temperature controller regulates the heating process according to the preset temperature. Chamber dimensions, heating capacity and loading configuration can be adjusted to suit the workpiece size, batch quantity and process requirements.

Main Components

The low temperature box furnace shell is welded from shaped steel and steel plates. Inside the shell is a furnace chamber constructed from a mixture of refractory bricks, refractory fiber felt, and insulating bricks. The heating elements are spiral coils made of 0Cr25Al5 high-resistance alloy wire, arranged on the side walls and bottom bricks of the furnace chamber. The furnace pot has a rectangular structure, formed and welded from 304 stainless steel plates. A water-cooling jacket is installed at the pot opening, and water-cooling pipes are located at the rear. A flow guide shroud made of 304 stainless steel plates is installed inside the pot. To ensure uniform furnace temperature, a hot air circulation fan is installed at the rear of the pot. The door of is a manually sliding side-opening type, consisting of a door panel and an insulation box. The insulation box is welded from 304 stainless steel and filled with refractory fiber felt to ensure a tight seal. The door is secured with four handwheels when closed. A circuit breaker safety device is installed on the furnace panel, interlocked with the furnace door opening and closing. When the furnace door is opened, the power supply to the electric furnace is cut off to ensure operator safety. An air inlet pipe is installed at the rear of the furnace body, allowing the passage of the required process gases. The electric furnace is equipped with two thermocouples: one is a control thermocouple installed at the top of the furnace body, used to measure and control the working temperature of the furnace chamber; the other is inserted directly into the furnace duct from the rear of the furnace body for recording and over-temperature protection. The main temperature control circuit uses a SSR module for control, and the temperature controller is a Japanese Fuji PXW9 digital display controller with SSR output and P.I.D control. Recording and over-temperature protection use a Shanghai Dahua XWG-101 central graph recorder and controller. An interlock is installed between the heater and the hot air circulation fan.
