Product Introduction

The pit type gas carburizing furnace is a cycle-operation electric furnace. It is an energy-saving resistance furnace improved from a series of electric furnaces based on actual user needs. The maximum operating temperature is 950℃. The furnace chamber is a vertical shaft type, containing a cast steel furnace jar and a material basket. The workpiece is placed in the material basket. The atmosphere is controlled by dripping into the furnace jar via a flow meter and drip pipe. A fan mounted on the furnace cover allows for forced circulation of temperature and atmosphere within the furnace jar.

Main Components

The Pit Type Gas Carburizing Furnace adopts a heavy-duty pit furnace shell and integrated working chamber, fitted with high-temperature refractory and thermal insulation lining. This structure reduces heat loss during long heating cycles and maintains stable internal temperature for carburizing and diffusion processes.

Circumferentially arranged electric heating elements cover the main heating zone to balance temperature distribution. A fully sealed furnace cover and matched mechanical lifting device simplify vertical workpiece loading and unloading while ensuring chamber tightness during operation.

The atmosphere system includes carburizing gas inlet and exhaust lines, flow control components and a carbon potential measuring device. These components work together to maintain the required furnace atmosphere during carburizing. The whole system is supported by multi-point temperature detection, PID temperature control unit and complete electrical control cabinet.

Supporting cooling and quenching equipment is integrated according to process needs, cooperating with the main furnace body to complete continuous carburizing and post-treatment procedures for batch workpieces.

It can adopt a new type of energy-saving furnace lining, which features rapid heating, low heat loss, and good furnace temperature uniformity, making it particularly suitable for the heat treatment of shaft-type workpieces;

It employs a microcomputer-based intelligent instrument, allowing furnace temperature to be set according to process requirements, with automatic tracking and display, and can achieve PLC program control;

Multiple temperature and atmosphere controls are achieved through upper and lower-level microcomputer networking, and with the addition of a robotic arm, it can achieve fully automated control, recording, and workshop group control, as well as minimal or no human operation;
