Product Introduction
This medium temperature pit resistance furnace is batch-operated thermal equipment, designed for vertical heat treatment of elongated metal workpieces. Different from horizontal box furnaces, its vertical pit structure allows long shafts, rods, tubes, gears and ring parts to be installed vertically, avoiding placement and dimensional problems during heating. The equipment supports common medium-temperature processes, including annealing, tempering, stress relief and low-temperature aging.
Overall structure adopts welded steel shell and multi-layer insulation lining to adapt to repeated heating cycles. Heating elements are arranged around the inner chamber for full-area heat coverage. Multi-point temperature control can be configured according to furnace depth to meet uniform heating requirements for extra-long parts. Chamber size, heating power and control modes are adjustable based on actual workpiece specifications and on-site process standards.
Working Principle
Workpieces are lifted and vertically positioned inside the chamber by crane or custom loading tools. After the furnace cover is fully closed and sealed, internal heating elements start running according to preset programs. Heat transfers through radiation and natural convection to heat the whole workpiece section. Multiple thermocouples collect real-time temperature data at different depth positions, and the PID controller adjusts heating output dynamically to maintain stable heating and holding stages. All temperature and time parameters are set according to material characteristics and processing requirements to complete standard medium-temperature thermal cycles.
Main Components
The medium temperature pit resistance furnace is assembled with industrial standard structural parts, including heavy-duty steel furnace shell, high-temperature resistant insulation lining and perimeter-mounted resistance heating elements.
