Product Introduction
The Large Gas Furnace is designed for heat treatment of large and heavy metal workpieces. It uses natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as fuel for thermal processing. It handles oversized castings, forgings, steel structural parts and heavy molds. It is used for annealing, normalizing, tempering and stress relief treatment for heavy workpieces.
Gas heating can reduce operating costs in applications that require long heating cycles or high furnace capacity. It is suitable for continuous production involving large and heavy workpieces.
Working Principle
Fuel gas is mixed with combustion air in the burners and ignited to produce hot flue gas. Heat transfers to workpieces through radiation and convection inside the furnace chamber. The control system adjusts the burner output according to the furnace temperature. Combustion waste gas is discharged through the dedicated flue system.
A heat-resistant trolley moves in and out of the furnace to complete workpiece loading and unloading. Temperature sensors continuously monitor the furnace temperature. The system maintains the preset furnace temperature throughout the heating cycle.
Main Components

The furnace body is constructed with thick welded steel plates and lined with composite refractory and insulation materials. The structure of Large Gas Furnace is designed for continuous high-temperature operation. Multiple gas burners are arranged inside the chamber to meet uniform heating requirements.

The gas supply system consists of gas supply pipelines and safety interlock devices to monitor gas pressure and ensure combustion safety. A flue system removes combustion gases from the furnace. The equipment is equipped with a load-bearing travelling trolley and independent driving mechanism for heavy workpiece handling.

Additional components include thermal sealing structures, temperature sensors and an integrated combustion control cabinet.
