Product Introduction

The Low Temperature Pit Type Resistance Furnace is designed for vertical heat treatment of long and large metal components. The pit structure allows shafts, rods, pipes, tubes and ring-shaped parts to remain upright during heating. This arrangement is useful when a workpiece is too long or heavy to be laid horizontally in a conventional box furnace.

The furnace is mainly used for low-temperature annealing, tempering, stress relieving and preheating. We manufacture different furnace sizes according to the actual workpiece. Furnace depth, chamber diameter, heating power and loading arrangement can be changed according to the part dimensions, batch weight and available workshop space.

Product Structural

The outer shell of Low Temperature Pit Type Resistance Furnace is a cylindrical furnace body made of steel plates and shaped steel. The inner surface of the furnace lid is made of stainless steel plate. The furnace lining is constructed of ultra-lightweight 0.6g/cm³ energy-saving microporous refractory insulating bricks. Alumina fiber felt is placed between the furnace lining and the furnace shell for insulation, and the remaining gaps are filled with expanded silica powder. The resistance wire is made of OCR25A15 high-resistance alloy wire wound into a spiral shape and installed on the wire-supporting bricks in the furnace chamber. Stainless steel wire guards and stainless steel charging baskets are placed inside the furnace chamber. The furnace lid is lifted manually or electrically. To ensure uniform heating of the workpiece, a hot air circulation fan made of heat-resistant stainless steel shaft and blades is installed on the furnace lid. During the heating process, hot air circulates up and down inside the furnace to ensure uniform heating of the workpiece. For operational safety, a limit switch is installed near the lifting mechanism. This switch is interlocked with the power supply of the electric furnace control cabinet. When the furnace lid is closed, the power is turned on. When the furnace lid is opened, the limit switch cuts off the control power, thus simultaneously cutting off the power to the heating elements to ensure safe operation.

This Low Temperature Pit Type Resistance Furnace is used in machinery manufacturing, forging, automotive parts, tool production and general metal processing. Typical workpieces include long shafts, steel rods, tubes, pipe fittings, gears and mold components.
