Product Introduction

This crucible type oil-fired furnace is designed for melting and temperature holding of aluminum, copper, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. It utilizes diesel as the heat source and a high-temperature crucible as the material container. The oil-fired heating system provides an alternative to electric resistance heating for plants where liquid-fuel operation is preferred.

The furnace adopts a compact structural layout and supports flexible batch operation. It is suitable for small- and medium-batch melting operations where flexible production capacity is required. The independent crucible design separates the combustion flame from the molten metal, reducing direct exposure of the molten metal to the combustion flame and helping maintain melt cleanliness.

Crucible capacity, heating output and overall furnace dimensions can be configured according to required melting throughput and on-site workshop layout constraints.

Working Principle

Metal raw materials are loaded into the high-temperature crucible housed inside the crucible type oil-fired furnace chamber. The oil burner atomizes diesel fuel for combustion, generating radiant heat around the crucible. Heat is transferred through the crucible wall to the metal charge, gradually raising its temperature to the required melting and holding range.

The integrated combustion control system modulates fuel supply and combustion intensity based on real-time chamber temperature, stabilizing thermal conditions during melting and holding stages. After melting and slag removal, the molten metal can be poured for downstream processing.
