Product Introduction
The Gas Fired Melting Furnace uses gaseous fuels as its primary heat source for non-ferrous metal melting and casting processes. It is suitable for melting aluminum, copper, brass, bronze and zinc alloys in industrial foundry applications.
Equipped with industrial gas burners, the equipment supports direct and indirect chamber heating modes, selectable based on structural design and material processing standards. The furnace body is fitted with refractory insulation to reduce heat loss during long-term high-temperature operation.
Gas Fired Melting Furnace capacity, internal chamber size, burner layout, fuel type, melting temperature, charging method, pouring structure and temperature control system can be configured according to material and production requirements.
Working Principle
Operators load the metal charge into the melting chamber or crucible before activating the burner system. Fuel gas mixes with combustion air inside the burner and ignites to generate a high-temperature flame for material heating.
Heat is transferred to the metal charge through thermal radiation and gas convection. The refractory lining helps retain heat inside the chamber and reduce heat loss during operation.
Built-in thermocouples and temperature sensors track chamber and molten metal temperature in real time. The automatic control system adjusts burner operating power according to preset process parameters, maintaining stable thermal conditions throughout melting and temperature holding stages. Once the molten metal reaches the required pouring temperature, it is discharged through the configured pouring mechanism.
