Product Introduction
The Oil Fired Aluminum Melting Furnace is designed for melting and holding aluminum and aluminum alloy materials using diesel as liquid fuel. It provides an alternative heating method, suitable for factories where liquid fuel is readily available or where oil-fired heating is preferred.
The furnace is applicable for processing aluminum ingots, aluminum scrap and recycled aluminum materials. Built with a dedicated melting chamber and molten metal holding zone, it supports repeated batch melting and holding operations. The overall structure adapts to repeated production cycles for aluminum casting and recycled aluminum processing lines.
Working Principle
Solid aluminum materials are loaded into the refractory-lined melting chamber. The oil burner atomizes diesel fuel and mixes it with combustion air for stable ignition and continuous combustion. The combustion chamber transfers heat to the aluminum charge through radiation and hot combustion gases, allowing the aluminum charge to melt gradually as the furnace temperature rises.
Temperature sensors and thermocouples monitor chamber temperature in real time. The combustion control system adjusts fuel supply and burner output to maintain stable temperatures throughout heating, melting and holding stages. After melting and slag removal procedures are completed, molten aluminum can be poured directly from the tapping outlet for subsequent production. Stable thermal conditions help maintain the required molten aluminum temperature before pouring.

The inner chamber is lined with high-temperature refractory materials selected for aluminum melting applications, forming an independent melting area and molten aluminum holding section.
