Product Introduction
The vacuum nitriding furnace is an advanced nitriding equipment, mainly used for deep hole or blind hole nitriding heat treatment that cannot be completed by ordinary nitriding.The furnace first evacuates the chamber and then introduces the required nitriding gas under controlled conditions. This precise atmosphere control effectively limits surface oxidation and ensures stable treatment results.
We customize chamber size, working temperature range, vacuum configuration, gas supply system, heating power and cooling structure according to actual workpiece specifications and nitriding process standards. The equipment adapts well to batch processing of various industrial and precision mechanical components.
Working Principle
Workpieces are thoroughly cleaned and placed inside the furnace chamber, after which the furnace door is fully sealed. The vacuum system evacuates air and other residual gases from the chamber before the heating and nitriding stages begin. The heating system then raises the chamber and workpieces to the preset processing temperature.
Once stable temperature and vacuum conditions are achieved, the required nitriding gas is introduced at controlled flow rates and pressures. Under the specified temperature and atmosphere conditions, nitrogen diffuses into the surface of the steel and forms the required nitrided layer.
The control system continuously monitors temperature, vacuum level, gas flow and internal pressure throughout the whole process. After heating, nitriding and diffusion procedures are finished, workpieces are cooled under controlled atmosphere or vacuum conditions based on different process requirements.
