Product Introduction
The Shell Firing Furnace is designed for heating, firing, curing and shaping of shell products. It uses an enclosed furnace chamber with electric resistance heating and automatic temperature control.
The furnace can be used for different shell materials and product sizes. Workpieces are placed on racks or fixtures inside the chamber and heated according to the required process temperature and holding time. Furnace dimensions, temperature range and internal rack structure can be changed according to the workpiece and production requirements.
It is mainly used for batch processing where stable heating and controlled temperature are required.
Working Principle
Shell workpieces are placed on the material rack and loaded into the furnace chamber. After the furnace door is closed, the heating system starts according to the preset program.
Electric heating elements generate heat inside the chamber. Heat is transferred to the workpieces through radiation and hot air circulation, depending on the furnace configuration. Temperature sensors continuously measure the chamber temperature and send the readings to the control system.
The PID controller adjusts the heating output according to the actual temperature. The Shell Firing Furnace follows the preset heating and holding stages until the required firing or curing process is completed.
After heating and holding, the furnace can follow the specified cooling procedure. The workpieces are then removed after reaching the required temperature.
