Product Introduction
The Oil Fired Trolley Furnace is a batch heat treatment furnace for large and heavy workpieces. It uses diesel as the main heating fuel and is suitable for factories where a natural gas supply is not available or liquid fuel is preferred.
The furnace is fitted with a heavy-duty movable trolley. Large castings, forgings, steel structural parts and heavy molds can be loaded onto the trolley outside the furnace and then moved into the heating chamber. This arrangement makes handling large workpieces easier.
The Oil Fired Trolley Furnace is mainly used for annealing, normalizing, tempering and stress relief treatment. Furnace dimensions, trolley load capacity, burner size and temperature control can be adjusted according to the workpiece and production requirements.
Working Principle
Workpieces are loaded onto the trolley and moved into the furnace chamber. After the trolley reaches the working position, the furnace door is closed and the oil burner starts.
Diesel fuel is atomized by the burner and mixed with combustion air. After ignition, the hot combustion gases transfer heat to the workpieces through radiation and convection. The burner output changes according to the furnace temperature during the heating process.
Thermocouples measure the furnace temperature and send the readings to the control cabinet. The control system adjusts the burner operation to maintain the required temperature during heating and holding.
After the heating cycle is completed, the burner stops. The trolley can then be driven out of the furnace for unloading or further cooling of the workpieces.
Features
Diesel firing allows the furnace to work without a natural gas pipeline. It is suitable for production sites where liquid fuel is easier to obtain and use.
The movable trolley makes loading and unloading easier, especially for large and heavy parts. Several burners can be arranged according to the Oil Fired Trolley Furnace size to improve heat distribution inside the chamber.
The refractory and insulation lining helps reduce heat loss during operation. Temperature sensors work with the burner control system to maintain the required furnace temperature.
