Product Instruction
The Continuous Aluminum Bar Heating Furnace is a type of continuous heating equipment used for heating aluminum rods, steel ingots, and steel billets.
The unit handles aluminum billets of varying diameters and lengths. Operators set heating temperature and holding time based on alloy grade, billet dimension, target outlet temperature and forming process requirements. Conveying speed gets fine-tuned to match real-world heating demands.
Working Principle
Aluminum billets are loaded onto the feeding system and fed into the furnace. The conveying mechanism pushes billets through preheat and heating sections at a stable, controlled speed.
The continuous aluminum bar heating furnace is split into multiple independent heating zones. Every zone runs on separate temperature setpoints. Temperature rises progressively from inlet toward outlet, instead of direct heating to target temperature in one step.
Thermocouples collect real-time in-furnace temperature readings. The control cabinet compares measured values against setpoints and modulates heating output accordingly. With proper tuning of zone temperatures and line speed, billets reach target temperature by the discharge point.

Applications
This continuous aluminum bar heating furnace mostly pairs with aluminum extrusion presses and forging equipment. It also serves aluminum rolling and other non-ferrous hot-forming workflows.
For extrusion lines, the furnace brings billets up to process temperature and delivers heated billets continuously toward extrusion tools. Within the designed operating range, operators process different billet sizes by adjusting machine parameters.
