User-Friendly Interface
The box furnace system organizes its human-machine interface using drop-down menus. These menus clearly indicate the current operational window, ensuring the user understands the nature of the task at hand. A prompt line at the bottom of the window specifies the permitted actions and procedures, making the system exceptionally easy to use. Error messages and complex Chinese character inputs are handled via pop-up windows, further enhancing operational convenience.

Rigorous and Comprehensive Process Design
The furnace's process library is closely integrated with part production; process records encompass pre-treatment, in-process, and post-treatment data, facilitating easy monitoring and review. The system allows for real-time process modification during treatment and enables the introduction of manual controls into the automated sequence, offering greater flexibility in managing treatment outcomes. Adjustable parameters for simulation calculations ensure accuracy across parts with varying case depth requirements. Once untreated parts are loaded, the monitoring module tracks them continuously until discharge. Treatment records-including load/unload times, process curves, and final results-are available for immediate review and printing, supporting quality traceability. The system supports three process modes-oil quenching without intermediate cooling, oil quenching with intermediate cooling, and gas quenching-and accommodates carbonitriding operations.

Intelligent Real-Time Online Monitoring
The system's "online monitor" utilizes field data acquisition and precise calculations to automatically compensate for the impact of disruptions such as brief power outages or furnace instability, effectively managing carbon concentration adjustments during the final stages of carburizing. If the control process is interrupted by a fault and subsequently restarted, the online monitor accurately calculates the carbon concentration profile within the parts based on recorded data and proposes various treatment options. Should the process need to resume, the monitor uses these calculated values as the initial concentration profile to complete the remaining process steps.

Ease of Commissioning and Maintenance
To facilitate system commissioning and maintenance, the box furnace design incorporates specific functions within the software modules. The "System Configuration" module includes a "System Parameter Adjustment" function, while the "Utilities" module offers features such as "Furnace Atmosphere Carbon Potential Calibration," "Alloy System Calculation," and "Heating Process Execution." These tools enable operators to easily adjust and maintain the system should furnace conditions change after prolonged use or major overhauls.

System Safety and Reliability
The box furnace features a "Password Management" function within the "Utilities" module, allowing passwords to be set for various menu functions to prevent unauthorized modification of critical data and process parameters. During part processing, any changes initiated by the operator require confirmation before taking effect, thereby preventing operational errors. Changes in furnace conditions, system actions, and any operator modifications to the process are logged in the corresponding database, providing a reliable basis for analyzing fault causes and handling parts requiring rework.
